Affiliations
The Inland Empire Handweavers
Guild has two major affiliations ASCH and WTCA.
The Association of Southern California Handweavers, a
nonprofit organization, includes handweavers, spinners, basket makers, lace
makers, felt makers, and dyers. Their purpose is to conduct
conferences to stimulate and encourage creativity and excellence and arouse
public interest in fiber arts. Members of IEHG participate in the biennial
conference by displaying their creations on the runway, in the different contest
galleries, or in the guild booth.
The Western
Textile Center Association is an affiliate of the San
Bernardino County Museum and the umbrella group which allows us to use
the museum's facilities. The WTCA, through the members in the various
umbrella groups, provides educational activities through displays, classes and
workshops, demonstrations, publications, and exhibits held at the museum facility.
