Beginning Weaving

These Introduction to Weaving Classes on a harness (shaft) loom or rigid heddle loom are for beginning (no experience) and new weavers who still need some guidance. Three six-week sessions are offered, two in the daytime and one evening. One or more projects will be completed during the course of instruction, but will require doing some weaving at home. Classes are conducted in Redlands, and require a membership in the IEHG guild. Looms are available for rental at $10/month.

The cost is $90 for six classes.

A $10 fee is charged if I provide the fibers for a project.

Class is limited to a maximum of 4 students.

FULL/Wednesday Evening Weaving

Dates: Feb. 6 – Mar. 13 - Time: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

The weaving structure, Ms and Os, will be introduced. Students will have the opportunity to weave samples on a pre-warped loom that will be cut off at the end of the sessions for their weaving record, and future reference.

The cost is $90 for six classes.

A fee is charged if I provide the fibers for a project.

The class size is limited to a maximum of 4 students.
