There is something exciting in the air for weavers & spinners in Southern California ! Something many of us have wanted for a long time . . . a
place to weave, spin, dye and create in a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. Just for us to connect and surround ourselves with friends and
immerse ourselves in fiber.
Kathleen Waln, Gail Marlow-Dickey and Michelle Lee have chosen to create "STUDIO 66 WEAVERS & SPINNERS RETREAT" at a
wonderful location here in Southern California. The community of Forest Falls located in the San Bernardino National Forest is home to a
delightful retreat/conference center called Forest Home. Where we will have lovely accommodations and meals prepared just for us by a
gourmet chef.
Gail, Kathleen and Michelle invite you to join them, bring your loom, spinning wheel, crochet, basketry, whatever projects you can cram in the
car !
The retreat starts Friday afternoon after you get settled in, check out your weekend home, experiment with crockpot dyeing. Dinner will be
at 7pm. After dinner gather by the fireplaces for the evening, have a bon fire on the beach and move to the lodge for late night or all
weaving and spinning. It is all ours . . . so stay up all night doing your thing if you want.

Saturday Take a bird walk before breakfast and then get into your projects. Take a little time out from your own project to walk about
and see or participate in other demos and activities. Join in fireside weaving and spinning in the evenings.

On Sunday take more time for your own project, have brunch and enjoy the retreat.
